Please note that not all of these organizations are international. Ask for books that will help you facilitate peace if they can't help directly.

Native Americans acknowledge that there are 4 types of general 'culture' worldwide just as there are four types of corn. All four types are culturally different according to skin color and in the four directions (though we are all one family):

----------------------white/north (Europe)
red/west(Americas)------------------yellow/east (Asia)
----------------------indigo/south (Africa and Australia)

This is a helpful way to understand world cultures. This understanding leads to acceptance and peace, and helps to celebrate and understand our differences and commonalities. The Middle East is in the center and the global crossroads of civilization.

Israel is in the center of the world and the horn of Africa seems to be our ancestral home. We are all one family with some cultural differences that make life interesting and pleasant. I suggest that we have a celebration ... the world's first worldwide celebration for world peace! Send your suggestions to the UN if you would like that too (see the next paragraph) and to your public officials!

If you are motivated to protest the manufacture of small arms and guns via email, I certainly think that is a good thing to do for world peace. A great place to email your concern is to your local representative to the UN, and to the UN itself (inquiries@un.org). Your local university political science department should know who those officials are and their contact information. Guns are in constant contrast to peace and it would be nice to live in a world without guns. And remember to express your opinion on a worldwide celebration for world peace!

I also want to suggest(and if you agree you might want to tell this to the UN also) that every city of 100,000 people or more should have the following, all for free and volunteer run:

A medicinal/edible garden that is volunteer run.
Clean, running water.

Composting toilets.
Local art, music and theater.

And now just for fun...
